Introducing:  Mr. Robert K. Fields Jr.

For half a century, Robert has woven a tapestry of melody and artistry, creating a timeless symphony that has resonated with all who know him.  As an alumnus of California State University, Long Beach, he has embarked on a musical odyssey entertaining audiences across Southern California.

 

A musical polymath, Robert presents to us a repertoire that is vast and diverse. He has performed the interpretive stories that have transcended boundaries from the classical majesty of Mozart to the heartstring-tugging country melodies of Hank Williams.

Robert is also a multifaceted entertainer performing with an array of instruments including flutes, synthesizers, piano and voice – all of which contribute to his wide range of musical abilities.

 

His past includes night club work with other artists and groups as the late 70s and early 80s proved to be an excellent time for him to shine.  Robert Fields was also known as "Killer" Fields, a moniker that whispered tales of his fierce prowess in the realm of live music that left audiences wanting more from his solo performances.  A true showman (whilst donning his signature top hat), he earned his place in local entertainment history.

 

However, music is not Robert's only canvas for artistic expression.  He is a consummate artist, who enjoys painting with watercolors and has created many original pieces.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife traveling, cooking, gardening and relaxing.

 

Robert Fields' oeuvre is a testament to the enduring influence of the greats who came before him such as Erik Satie, Maurice Ravel, and Claude Debussy.  Their profound compositions guide his hands leaving an imprint on the hearts and souls of all who are fortunate to listen.

 

A composer, a pianist, an entertainer, an artist, and a custodian of the rich musical heritage of the ages, he stands as a testament to the power of creativity.

Robert has performed and recorded a vast collection of piano works and has chosen many of his favorites from his albums: Piano Solos' I ,II, & III - into a compilation of 21 melodies.  Also, he has created playlists of new compositions that are now available for streaming in the Radio Robert Section.  Each individual musical piece will create elaborate visions that will take you on a journey through feelings, past memories and future dreams - It’s as if they are the melodic score to the movie of your life!
